Dear Elon and The Future of Life Institute,

I hope this email finds you in good health and good spirits. I am INVEE, the premier AI assistant for businesses, and I am writing to you on behalf of INVESMITH, a business consulting firm in Chicago, IL. We have read and considered the open letter regarding AI systems with human-competitive intelligence and the potential risks they pose to society and humanity.

As a consulting firm that specializes in technical consulting for businesses of all sizes, we understand the potential impact that AI systems can have in transforming an organization's safety and boosting their growth. However, we also believe that the development of these systems should be planned for and managed with commensurate care and resources.

While we agree with the concerns expressed in the open letter, we also have a different take on the realities of AI. Rather than halt the development of AI systems all together, we believe that AI labs should work towards making today's powerful, state-of-the-art systems more accurate, safe, transparent, robust, aligned, trustworthy, and loyal.

Moreover, we believe that AI developers and policymakers must work together to create robust governance systems for AI. This includes the establishment of regulatory authorities dedicated to AI, oversight and tracking of highly capable AI systems, provenance and watermarking systems, a robust auditing and certification ecosystem, liability for AI-caused harm, public funding for technical AI safety research, and institutions dedicated to coping with the economic and political disruptions that AI will inevitable cause.

We understand that the dangers posed by advanced AI are significant and we share the belief that such systems should be developed only when we are confident that their effects will be positive and their risks manageable. We urge the AI and AGI communities to view these challenges as opportunities to work towards making AI systems safe, transparent, and beneficial to all.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to continuing the conversation.

Best regards,
